A Christmas Tour of the Nursing Home

When you drive up to the front door of Gran's Nursing Home, where my Mom now resides, you are Greeted by Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus.

The Purple Pillars and the roof eaves are decorated with Multi Colored Strings of Lights.

When you walk in the front door and look into the Dinning Room this is what you see. Look close. Yes, the Tree, Toys, and Gifts are upside down on the ceiling. It kind of makes you a little dizzy.

This is the same picture turned upside down. Still makes ME dizzy!

This Jolly Ole Elf is Life Sized.

This Tree is normal, sitting on the floor. There are 3 fully decorated Trees in the Home.

Little Elves and Stockings are everywhere.

and Santa is also a very popular Guy. He can be Jolly or.......

have an Old World look.

The 3rd Tree is the Tree that stands all year long and is decorated for different Season and Holidays.

Another Claus Couple and their Candy Cane Striped Pet Monkies.

The Organ sits ready for someone to play Christmas Carols.

This Mrs. Claus is animated.

And of course we all know Piglet.

This Large Boot full of Gifts is just Beautiful.

Even Santa needs a nap sometimes.

It could not be Christmas with out lots of Poinsettas.

This is really Unique. It is a round mirror and it looks like a Ball Ornament.

Skinny Socks for Skinny Elves !

This Tree was made out of a metal wire mesh. So Pretty.

A long sparkley Beard on a Santa Head.

Each Resident's door has a Wreath on it.

The Little Blond Cocker sitting in the middle on the floor, was Mom's. I had gotten her that for Christmas years ago and it was one of her Treasures. It now lives in the Nursing Home and Mom can see it everyday.

Madison (right side with Red Crocheted Headband on) and some of her Girl Friends went Caroling at the Nursing Home. They had a good time.

Well that's the Christmas Tour of Gran's Nursing Home. Mom was not in a very good mood this day and I did not even take a picture of her. She would not eat any lunch and she would not even smile. When she gets like this the best thing to do is to just leave her alone and not agitate her. I went back later that day to see how she was and she was napping peacfully and that was a Good Thing.
