Murphy is AJ's and ME's Maine Coon Cat. He has a Birthday this Sept. He will be 4 year old. He was given to AJ as a Birthday Gift by Jen. He was adopted from Pet Smart. I really do not know why I okayed her to pick out a cat for us....but I did.
He was so tiny in the cage and had the sweetest little mew, I just could not say no.
After having him a month or two I was ready to take him back. He was into everything! He also pestered my 2 Old Girl Cats to death.
This is Murphy on his first Birthday. He had grown into a Cat Giant! At this point in time I would never have given him away, but every day I wondered how I would put up with this Guy for the rest of my life!
But as time went on I lost my 2 Old Girls and he was the only pet in the house. I had one-on-one time with him and over the months I grew to really LOVE him. I completely got to know his personality.
He was so tiny when we got him....
he now weighs about 20 pounds, not fat just a Big Boy ♥
The only time he was not getting into trouble was when he was Cat Napping.
At 3 months around Christmas he still was a normal sized Kitten, but.......
the next few months he had a growing spell and he grew......
and grew!
He still gets into everything but we just don't mind as much any more. He loves AJ & ME so much that he is hardly ever out of our sight.
He helps ME cook, watches ME take a bath, keeps ME company when I need to use the potty, lays by AJ when he is on the computer, when AJ naps he lays ontop of him and always lays with AJ at night until AJ is fast asleep.
He is Our Big Boy Cat and we Love him so much. He would be an easy Cat to give away. Everyone that meets Murphy wants him......but I think we will just keep him for the rest of our lives.
