Who wants to see My vacation pictures????

Vacation was an Over-Nighter in Tulsa

this year for ME, Jen and Madison.

For years Jen and ME have always wanted to

go to Tulsa and do nothing but

go to Thrift Stores.

So this year our dream was full-filled.

The first stop is K-Mart. Our town has not

got a K-Mart so this is always a fun change

from Wal-Mart. We bought nothing!

We ate dinner the first night on the

Tulsa Riverwalk. It was a nice place.
If it had not have been 103 degrees
we might have done some River Walking.
After Dinner we headed back to our
room.

The Motel we stayed in was called

The Guest House Suites. They were little

4 suite bungalows.

They had a Kitchenett.

2 Beds & TV.

A little Desk Area

A make-up & dressing area and a Bath.

This was really nice and it would be a great

place to stay if you were going to be in

Tulsa for awhile.

It was like a Little Home away from Home.

We could hardly miss this Big Guy!

Look how little Madison is

comparied to this Giant!

She said she felt like Jack in

Jack and the Bean Stalk.

I wonder what size shoe he wears?

We then went to Utica Square.

We found this real working Phone Booth.

Would you believe Madison did not know

what a Phone Booth was.

We found a Little Grocery that sold

homemade Fruit Tarts.

This looks like something

off the Food Channel.

Yummmmmm!

We ate Lunch before we left Tulsa

at a Hamburger Joint called

Goldies.

The Burgers come Naked

and you dress them yourself

from the bar.

Now as for the Thrift Stores.

We went to about a dozen of them in

Tulsa, and would you believe it......

we didn't find a thing!

When we hit Our Town, Jen said

"Mom would you like to stop at our

Goodwill Store before I take you home?"

"You bet" I replied.

We went in and we both found

Stuff to buy.....

right in our own Backyard!
