For the LOVE of PIGEONS

Everyone has something they really enjoy doing. You may love to watch TV, Sewing, Cooking, Restoring Old Cars, Shopping, Gardening, Playing Video Games, Reading Books, Sports, Fishing, Hunting, Traveling, Boating, Camping, Redecorating, Working out, Going to Movies, Horse Back Riding, Bullfighting or volunteering.
AJ's "something he loves doing" is really a Passion. Raising Pigeons. He did this as a child and young man. He then got out of the Bird Raising and started up again after we purcashed our home, that has a really big back yard, in 1993. He loves everyone of the Birds that number near 100. Our Birds are never destroyed or let loose, no matter how old they are. He is out tending to the Bird daily in tempertures of 108 degrees in the summer to O degrees in the winter. AJ has past this love for Piegons on to our Granddaughter Madison. She also is in love with the birds. She has been around the birds since she could walk. AJ raises Homers and Rollers and they are beautiful. Here is just a sampling of them.

A Bahama Vacation for a Tween

This year Madison got to take a Friend with her on Summer Vacation. They went to the Bahamas. This was Madison's second Cruise, last year Jen, Wade and Madison went to Jamaca. She had a wonderful time but said if only she had a Friend to share Jamaca with it would have been better. Her wish came true and Jen and Wade let her take Chris this year.

This year the Ship was the Destiny.Like all the Carnival Ships it was Beautiful and treated the Guests like Royality.

Madison got to try out all her New Swim Suits at the Ship's Pools and sometimes off the Ship.

They got to go in a Submarine and see the bottom of the Ocean.

There were Beaches with Pure White Sand....

and vegatation you do not see at home.

They got to see summer homes that belonged to celebs. Like this was Oprah's Bahama Get-away.

Of course there was Shopping-Shopping and more Shopping.A Girl's just gotta have FUN!

After long days on Sea or at Ports, the State Rooms look mighty good.It did not take Madison long to fall asleep and Dream maybe....

she was crossing the Ocean on the very Romantic Ship the Titanic.
Of course she always woke up in the morning before the
 Iceberg Scene!

I sure hope someday Madison realizes what a Wonderful Charmed Childhood her Mom and Dad are giving her ♥

Just Fun & Games!

Do you ever just get bored and browse the Web. I sure do. I found these the other day and found them quite fun. There was a disclaimer on the pages that stated "If you get dizzy or sick at your tummy turn the computer off ". They never bothered ME.

If you click on the pictures it is a little better to actually see some of the effects.
 Do you see the Lady
and the Flowers & the Butterfly.

Which man is the tallest? They are all the same height. Really...measure them.

Can you count the Black dots between the squares?

 Kissing

Look at the outer edges of the pinwheel and count the the blades clockwise. Do you see the pinwheel turn?

How many legs does elephant have?
For some reason this picture does not show up well...sorry.

Stare at the center black dot and move back and forth from the screen. Do you see the edges turning?

If you look from one middle purple middle circle to another, you will see the the circles expand.

If you think this Boat is floating in the air over the water, cover up the shadow under the Boat and look again.

Here is another stare in the middle and move back and forth away from the screen to see the Red, White & Blue border move.

Same effect with the dots. Move back and forth.

This is so cool. Do you see an elephant?   Do you see a human hand?

This one moves if you look at it for awhile....

 and so does this one.

Do you think she is beautiful?

Not so Pretty when you turn her right side up :o(

This one is really cool. But you must get out of your chair and move about 10 feet away from the screen. Albert Einstein will turn into Marlynn Monroe. Really try it!

Okay that was Fun! now go do something productive...like maybe watering and feeding your Wild Birds and checking on your outside Pets.

What are you Selling on eBay? Glad you asked!

I "Love Selling on eBay"!
Why?...doesn't it take up alot of your time?....doesn't it take up alot of you space? where do you get your junk treasures?...does AJ mind?....is it hard to do?....do you make a profit?.
You ask?
Why?----it keeps ME busy.
does it take up alot of my time?---yes it does.
does it take up alot of your storage space---yes it does, if there is a flat surface, there is an eBay item sitting there ready to be sold.
where do you buy your stuff---Thrift Stores, Garage Sales, Estate Sales.
is it hard to sell on eBay---no, if it was I would not do it.
do I make money selling on eBay---yes, but not enough to send my Grandkids to college. But enough to buy AJ a Steak Dinner ever so often.

So what are you selling on eBay? Glad you asked!

A (Birthday) Pool Party!!!!!!!!

AJ &  ME spent a Hot Summer Afternoon Partying.

It was Evan's, our youngest Grandson, second Birthday. Julie created this Theme Cake.... Mickey Mouse and his Friends gathered around a pond.

Presents were opened and all the Little Kiddos had fun playing and breaking them in with Evan.
We ate Pizza and then Julie cut the Birthday Cake.....
and it was sooooo goood! Just ask Grampy or....
Paul.
Alan was at the Party. It seems like only yesterday AJ & ME were celebrating his second Birthday ♥
After we got the house back in some order, we all went outside.....
Julie had filled the tank pool and all the Boys got in! Let the Fun Begin!
Well not all the Boys. The Wades stood on the side line :o(

Annie got in and cooled off.
I had purchased a bunch of Pool Toys for the Kids..balls, blow-up rings, Foam Noodles and Water Blasters. The Blasters were a Big HIT! The Boys finally got the hang of squirting the water and anyone that got close to the pool was.....
soaked!
But that cool water felt so good on a Hot Summer Day.
Everyone, plus Annie, had a Grand Time...

Thanks Julie for Hosting a Fun Birthday Party for Evan.
Mimi & Grampy had a Terrific Time!
