WHITE = Blanco, Weiss, Blanche, Shiro, Bianco

It is hard to believe that just a couple of days ago
it was 60 degrees.
It put ME in a False Sense of Security.
Winter is over and maybe I will
plant some Pansies, for some
early spring color in my flower beds.
Like Ya!

My Puppies and Madison were loving
it out of doors. AJ was tending the Pigeons
without gloves and ear muffs. He even
let them bath.
It felt like Spring.
It looked like Spring.
Ya Sure!

Little did we know this was just around the corner.
Yes, Gary England told us it "WAS" coming.
But you always seem to think it could miss us.
I did go to the WalMart and stock up on
foods along with 99% of the town. The
stores were crazy and the shelves of food
were either low or out of main staples.
AJ made sure the Generator was working
and that we had plenty of gas for it, incase
our power went out.
First came the drop in temperature.
Then came the rain that froze on contact
with whatever it touched.
Then came the sleet.
Then the final touch was snow.
This is three layers of frozen precipitation.

This ornamental grass stands higher then the
mail box when it isn't weighted down with ice

and then snow.

When you step out on my back porch
this is what is lurking over head.

Marleys Big Ball just kept getting taller...

and taller.

My corner bush just gave up and
bowed down in submission to Mr. Winter.

Marley just loved nosing around in the snow
for hidden treasures.
She finality came up with her Little Red Ball.

Another JACK Blog.....

I hope you are not getting bored with
AJ & ME's animal plus Madison pictures.
Our Nest was empied a long time ago,
so AJ & ME filled it with Pets. Most
of the Old Bunch are gone and AJ & ME
have replaced them (not in our hearts though)
with a New Bunch.

Madison is the only Grand-Baby that lives close.
AJ & ME's other beloved Grand-Babies live
out of town and state. Because Madison is so
available, that is why she on the blog alot
more then AJ & ME's other Babies.
Every day after school Madison goes in the
back yard to bond with Jack. We make Marley
stay indoors for awhile, so it is just Mat and Jack,
one on one.

Madison wants Jack in the house so bad!
But I have said NO,
not until he has been bathed and checked
for fleas.
Here she is checking out the flea situation.

Jack is really a Sweet Boy.

I could put a Flag on that tail.

We are starting to think maybe, Jack
came from a loving home before
he became a stray.
He is so docile!

He takes treats from your hand ever so gently.

This shows how trusting he is.

When an animal is belly up they are the
most vulnerable- open to attack.
You can see Jack is completly trusting.

There is that Flagpole Tail again, Happy!
When AJ & ME take him to the Vet
it is curled down and between his legs,
thus "Tail Between His Legs", scared.
After about 15 minutes of continous barking
and crying from Marley, who is in the house,
but knows exactly whats going on outside,
we let her out.
The scene now changes:
run,
jump,
romp,
playful biting.
Kids and Dogs....
The Perfect Match!!!!!
~~~~
We are having an Ice Storm.
Please feed the Wild Birds!!!!!!
There will be nothing on the ground
for them to eat except what you put out.
Bird Seed, pop corn, old bread,
old crackers or cookies, old cereal,
left over pancakes or oatmeal.
Do not toss it in the trash,
toss it in your back yard,
it won't be there long!!!
The Birds will
"Thank You"!
100% Our Dog!
Today AJ & ME took Jack to the Vet to get
his eye checked out. The Vet said it had
healed just fine. She said he might have
Rat Terrier in him along with maybe
Jack Russel. She looked at his teeth and
thought he could be about 4 years old.
After Jack hurt his eye we confined him in
a small area of our yard and gave him shelter
in the garage. I wanted to get him used to
the back yard, Marley and the Pigeons, but
was still kind of nervous about it.
Well, I shouldn't have been nervous at all.
He did so well! He of course marked every-
thing in the back yard and made it his own. He did
check out the Pigeons, but did them no harm.
And my biggest fear,
"how would he act with Marley"?
Well, you will see, they were instant
Buddys!!!
Marley does try to herd Jack.
They get along so very well and
they run
and run
and tackle
and run.
They drink together
then they pee.
~
We are just what Jack needed
and Jack is just what
AJ & ME, and Marley needed.
Down (Christmas) Memory Lane 2000-09
It seems like only yesterday we were
putting Madison in the arms of this
Jolly Fat Elf.
I really believe she knew from the
beginning this was someone to like.
Santa changed in looks from year
to year, but she never noticed.
This was the year all she wanted was
Puppies!
At this age we could say
"If your not good, Santa won't bring you any toys"
and she believed it.
" My Little Ponies" were at the top of her
list at this age.
She is now in school and we wonder
just how much longer will she
believe in the Jolly Old Elf?
She tells Santa just what she wants
for Christmas and she gets it.
Why not believe?
At this age she has really started to notice
there is a Santa in about ever store or Mall.
They all look somewhat different and
some beards are fake. Of course this is when
you try to keep Santa alive by saying
"He has lots of Helpers".
This seems to satisfy her this year.
Now this year she has figured out Reindeer
can't fly, Santa can't come down a chimney
and no human can go all over the world in
one night.
Mom & Dad and Family are
buying the gifts and they come from stores,
not the North Pole, made by Elves.
And Daddy is eating the cookies and drinking
the milk that is left on the counter top.
This is the year she knows that Santa
is real! and lives in your heart,
not in the North Pole, and he is
alive as long as you
Believe!
Once in a Blue Moon
Blue Moon
you saw me standing alone
without a dream in my heart
without a love of my own.
Blue Moon
you knew just what I was there for
heard me saying a prayer for
someone I really could care for.
and suddenly appeared before me
the only only one my arms will hold,
I heard someone whisper
"Please adore me"
and then I looked to the Moon,
it turned to Gold.
Lyrics by Richard Rodgers
Most years have 12 full moons. When there is
an extra full moon in the year, 13, it is called a
"Blue Moon"
"A Blue Moon" is also used in conversation
to mean a rare event, such as
"Once in a Blue Moon"!
The last Blue Moon was December 31, 2009.
The whole world had a
"Blue Moon New Years Eve Party"!!
These are pictures of the
"Blue Moon" on Dec. 31, 2009.
